If we are going to pick up the torch, we must hold convictions based on the Bible. We cannot passively wait until a crucial moment to determine convictions. Like Daniel, we must commit ourselves to God's way and live them out, regardless of the consequences. We must be convinced that the Bible is true. We need to be students of God's Word with biblical purpose in every area of life.
