Studying the history of Laodicea may help us better understand our own time and not make the same mistakes. It's not a sin to “be in Laodicea,” but the reality is that's where we are. How close are we to the dangerous ditch of lukewarmness? Jesus loved the Laodiceans and told them to be zealous. Do your passions line up with God's passion? Wholeheartedly embrace the Christian life.
