The Gospel we profess is profound, yet simple. Christ died for our sins, and He was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures. He did all this so we could be reconciled to God. He did this so our broken hearts could be healed, and we could be set free from the bondage of sin, and empowered to live for Him. The Gospel does nothing for us unless it is received and believed.
