You cannot pick up the torch without it affecting your will, passion, and affections. Over and over again, Jesus raised the standard from the outward to the inward. We need a transforming conversion where we cry out to God and receive power for victory over sin, the voice of the Holy Spirit to enable us to live a holy life, and God's Word to strengthen us.
