Before Christ's coming there will be a great tribulation and the Antichrist will appear. Postmillennialists believe that Christ's return will occur after the thousand year reign of Christ, and that the world will become better over time. Amillennialists do not believe in a literal one thousand year reign. Premillennialists believe that a literal thousand year reign will follow Christ's coming.
