The cry of God's heart in Malachi 1 is that His people would be wholeheartedly devoted to Him. We must recognize God's great love for us in order to love Him in return. It is a dishonor to God to give Him less than our best. If serving God is a weariness and drudgery to us, there is something wrong in our relationship with Him.
