Desert experiences will come to our spiritual lives. When they come, a lot of people give up. The first step to blooming in the desert is to have the same simple, settled relationship with God that Joseph had. God was with Joseph. There is no need to be pretentious. It is in surrender that you learn to bloom. God wants you to bloom in the desert. Commit yourself to leaning on Him.
