Cries do something to our hearts. They pull us and call us to action. Our neighbors are not crying, but most are satisfied with their sins and hardness of heart. A day of terrible judgment is coming, though, and in that day they will cry. Like the rich man spoken of in Luke 16, those in hell are crying out that someone should warn their brethren. May we take seriously the silent cry of our neighbors who one day will end up in hell if they have not been warned.
