What is it about January 1st that makes us want to make resolutions? It boils down to us giving our collective attention to the passing of time. We ask the question, “What in my life needs to change?” It is good for us to consider, How did I do? What have I wasted? Were the things I sought after even worth it? Let's resolve to live with a patient spirit that we might die with a good name.
